The tutor we were assigned (Fe Berwick) immediately put my son at ease and over the following year and half, they built an amazing working relationship resulting in my son achieving his very best in all his exams. Can I just take this opportunity to thank Basing Tutors and Helen specifically for the excellent support offered for our son. Helen has managed to juggle tuition in two different subjects (English and Maths) with great skill and care, always arriving for a session with a plan and structure set in her mind and a path for the hour clearly defined. Her patience at times has been well tested and she has always taught with a mix of empathy and firmness – never letting a naturally reluctant teenage boy who struggles with maths ‘off the hook’. We now await the exam results with bated breath, confident in the knowledge that if he does pass – we know exactly who to thank! Hi Simon,

I spoke to Callum shortly after he came out of his exam this morning. He said he thought it went well.

Importantly, he said some questions seemed difficult at first but that he found ways to address them. Both he and I feel that this ability to better understand the fundamentals is a direct result of your tuition.
